Rains and brains!

 Hey all!

Last evening I was asked by a friend about my thoughts on rain!

Before moving further kindly take a minute and collect your thoughts you get when you hear of rain or rainy season or even when you feel that pleasant aroma which indeed, re-joys you.

So if you have collected any thoughts than let us compare yours with mine and if you have ignored my request, anyways, let us come to my thoughts! 😁 

First thought, Fritters!

Oily, crunchy, spicy, tongue satisfying-mouth watering taste of potato, onion, spinach, maize fritters served with mint chutney and in more trendy way, cheese, corn, jalapeno fritters (my current favorite 😍) 

Second thought, a new challenge while going to work!

3-times traffic, puddles, free-hand design of mud on washed and ironed clothes, and that very annoying and un-invited rain/shower especially when we are carrying no umbrella or raincoat with us.

After putting some pressure on my lazy brain, it threw another thought which framed some nature and temperature benefits like rain calms the Sun down who was having a blast from last 3-4 months, evaporating water, sweat, tears, peace and motivation to survive on this planet. So ultimately rains are beginning of new era of happiness, bliss for farmers, more crops, more greenery, more happy vibes. Re-birth of mother-nature!

Giving this thought some more time, I realized this is the most artistic season of all. Isn’t it?

How?

Let’s see!

Every other person, irrespective of age group, we see around has become a photographer now, capturing clouds, rain drops, droplets on leaves and petals, on palms, falling from window, from ceiling, falling on face, with the smile (this is among the mandatory ones), a kid jumping in puddle, and in fact new and never ever seen insect and worms, reptiles, creepy creatures and what not. Every one is a candid nature photographer and the next person is a poser and while every third person is irritated by the unavoidable mud all over (we will deal with person later).

Everyone has become a writer and philosopher as well. Clouds have something in them; a mere sight at them fills the person’s mind and heart with deep philosophical ideas. Those may be romantic or lonely ones, joy or sad ones, homesick or wanderlust ones, active or lazy ones, as calm as river and as wild as tides. These thoughts, he can never let go and can’t resist either penning down or at least publishing them on social media.

Everyone is a cook too. As I mentioned earlier, rain and fritters are part of eternal love story. Not only fritters, anything oily spicy and very very tasty. People love to experiment on their cooking tactics and end up creating a blunder or a thunder. Either way, these are memories, very precious memories.

Everyone is a music lover. Every person has a juke box deep inside their head which has a collection of very less-popular songs, but yes lovely ones. This juke box opens up after the drops start shedding off the clouds.

Many become painters. When nature and surroundings become that colorful, how do hearts not! Many of us paint down the colorful surrounding and many, colorful thoughts! Everything is so beautiful when surroundings are green and cheerful.

Very few but yes, there come up many new gardeners. This is the season when most of the flowers are on the peak of blooming. So people decorates the pretty corners of their homes with these colorful guests and while others make a forest of their own 😆, I mean huge gardens!

And yes, wanderers! One cannot sit inside for long if clouds are having such amazing chemistry with air! People explore and roar (sorry for the PJ 😅).

There must be many more things which I haven’t thought of yet but yes, rains are catalyst for connecting ones heart to brain.
